Timberland has teamed up with Certified B Corporation, Thread, for a collection focused on environmental sustainability.
Thread transforms plastic bottles from the streets and landfills of Haiti into what they call “the most responsible fabric on the planet”, which was used for their collaborative collection with Timberland.
The Timberland x Thread Collection is centered around footwear, but also boasts a selection of T-shirts and bags. Beyond environmental sustainability, the collabo hopes to create social value and impact by creating jobs, cleaner communities and great looking products that last.
Pieces include the innovative CityBlazer Fabric and Leather Boot, featuring a military-inspired silhouette and three neutral colorways. Also included in the offering are two colorways of the Newport Bay Canvas Hiker Chukka, a sport-inspired sneaker-boot hybrid made with Thread fabric in the upper.
The Timberland x Thread Collection is available now at the brand’s online store.
