Nearly two years after their split, the drama between Chris Brown and ex-girlfriend Karrueche continue, this time involving the courts.
According to TMZ, a judge has granted Karrueche a restraining order against the singer, after she allegedly received death threats from him.
In a sworn statement to the judge, she claims that earlier this month, Chris told several people he would kill her while also alleging past physical abuse during their relationship.
Karrueche also made the claim that Brown “punched me in my stomach twice” and “pushed me down the stairs”, which may have been during the time he was on probation for beating then-girlfriend Rihanna.
The restraining order comes weeks after a odd video of Brown circulated social media in January, where he admits to being overzealous in his relationships.
“Ladies, y’all be complaining about n*ggas being like stalkers and in love with y’all, kinda crazy and sh*t, and you get tired of ‘em,” he said in the video. “Well guess what? I’m one of ‘em n*ggas! If I love you, b*tch, ain’t nobody gon’ have you. I’m gon’ make you miserable. I’m going to chase that n*gga out, and I’m gonna chase you around, and it’s done.”
