In President Donald Trump’s first week in office, he’s already stirred up a lot of controversy. His immigration bans have been met with outrage, even by some of his supporters. Citizens are protesting and expressing their feelings in various mediums, and Budweiser has jumped into the conversation… with their upcoming Super Bowl ad.
The iconic beer brand teased its Super Bowl LI ad spot this week, and they troll Trump hard. The one-minute clip tells the story of a young Adolphus Busch, a German immigrant who founded the Anheuser-Busch (Budweiser’s parent company). When he makes way to America, he is met with hate… much like most immigrants throughout history. But despite hardships and discrimination, Busch eventually makes his way to St. Louis and helps build one of America’s biggest companies.
It’s a powerful story about a determination to succeed against all odds that every American can connect with.
Kudos to Budweiser!!
