The Chargers officially announced that they are moving to Los Angeles on Thursday morning (Jan. 12), and while it’s huge news, the Internet couldn’t get over the “LA” logo they debuted.
The NFL team debuted a new “LA” mark, which looks similar to the LA Dodgers logo, but merged with the Charger’s familiar lightning bolt. Apparently, people aren’t feeling it… and have begun mocking the logo, with numerous parodies popping up online.
NHL franchise, the Tampa Bay Lightning, were quick to point out the similarities with their own logo.

According to ESPN, sources says the new “LA” mark is just “a working logo and has not been approved by the NFL.”
