The L.A. Clippers will be down one of their stars, as Blake Griffin is set to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery and is expected to miss three to six weeks, says the team.

The star forward missed a game last weekend, due to a sore right knee, but had been playing through the pain since the issue began.

The surgery will remove loose bodies from his right knee.

Griffin previously missed his rookie season with an injury to his left knee, having surgery in January 2010.

This season, he’s averaging 21.2 points, 8.8 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 26 games.
