Rita Ora is gearing up for VH1’s America’s Next Top Model, as the show’s host, so she stops by The Wendy Williams Show to promote the new season.
During her interview, the British singer tallks about taking over for Tyra Banks, but not replacing her. “You can’t try and take over Tyra’s shoes,” says Ora. “It’s impossible.”
In the past year, Ora has worked on three films — including Fifty Shades Darker, Wonderwell, and Fifty Shades Freed — but says she’s still focused on her music career.
“I’ve been in such a hoo-haw with the music that it turned into a thing where I wanted to outdo myself,” she explained. “So I started doing other things and why not? … I feel like I’m in one of the most powerful positions I’ve ever been in in my life.”
The new season of America’s Next Top Model premieres Dec. 12 on VH1.
