Ahead of its global debut at the LA Auto Show, Jaguar unveiled its new concept vehicle on Monday (Nov. 14), the I-Pace Concept.
Similar to Jag’s new SUV, dubbed the F-Pace, the new concept is a preview of the production model, which will be revealed in 2017, followed by a release in 2018.
According to Jaguar, their team “torn up the rule book” for the creation of a bespoke electric architecture, matched with dramatic design, resulting in a smart, five seat sports car and a performance SUV in one.
“The I-PACE Concept represents the next generation of electric vehicle design. It’s a dramatic, future-facing cab-forward design with a beautiful interior – the product of authentic Jaguar DNA, electric technology and contemporary craftsmanship,” said Ian Callum, Director of Design.
Car fans can get a first look at the Jaguar I-Pace Concept at the Los Angeles Auto Show, opening this weekend.
