Vans Resurrects Iconic Skate Shoes For 50th Anniversary

Vans caps off its landmark year of heritage, celebrating 50 years "Off The Wall", by unearthing a number of iconic skate footwear models for the 50th Anniversary Pro Classics Collection.

The Full Cab returns to the Vans Pro Classics lineup, as part of the collection. Originally released in 1989, Steve Caballero's namesake style revolutionized skate footwear history by inspiring street skaters to customize the shoe by cutting its collar in half, and thus spawning the "lighter, better, faster" Half Cab in 1993.

Alongside the Full Cab Pro follows a trifecta of timeless silhouettes worn by three skateboarding legends like Ray Barbee, John Cardiel and Geoff Rowley -- including the Old Skool Pro, the Chukka Pro, and the inimitable Rowley Pro. Each is reintroduced this season in the original colorways of their time.

Each classic is enhanced with Vans' Ultracush HD sockliners and Duracap reinforced underlays.

The final installment of the Vans 50th Anniversary Pro Classics Collection is available now at retailers worldwide and online.
