Russell Westbrook Posts Historic 50-Point Triple-Double

Russell Westbrook is hungry as ever, despite Kevin Durant leaving the OKC Thunder, and proved it on Friday night (Oct. 28), when he had a historic game.

Russ put up the NBA's first 50-point triple-double since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 1975, helping lead the Thunder to a 113-110 win in overtime against the Suns and a 2-0 start to the season.

Westbrook finished the game with 51 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists -- the third-highest point total ever in a triple-double.

After the game, in which he played 45 minutes, Westbrook didn't seem all that impressed with the feat. "[I'm] hungry, I'll tell you that much," he said.
