NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has a new gig: global spokesperson for Krispy Kreme.
Shaq announced the news Monday morning (Oct. 24), via Twitter. Apparently, as part of the deal, he also gets ownership in the company’s iconic store in downtown Atlanta, which opened in 1965.

“Our goal is to help people find their happy place, and what better way than with a box of delicious doughnuts,” O’Neal said in a statement.
Krispy Kreme was acquired by JAB Beech for $1.35 billion in May. The firm also owns coffee interests, including the Keurig, Peet’s and Caribou brands.
