Looks like Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard was busy this offseason, but not just with basketball. He’s been recording an album.
The NBA All-Star unleashed his debut album this week, titled The Letter O.
Lillard tells NBA.com that he recorded the project in a week. “I recorded the entire album in L.A. and it took me one week… So I was there for five days, and from 12 noon to 12 midnight, I was in the studio. I’d workout at 8 am and then I’d go lift and then I’d go to the studio, 12 to 12, five days straight.”
The 12-track album features an impressive lineup of guests as well, including Juvenile, Jamie Foxx, Lil Wayne, Marsha Ambrosius, and others.
