Kanye West debuts 'The Life of Pablo'

Kanye West continues to make headlines, simply from his commentary during the “Saint Pablo Tour”.

During the Seattle stop on Wednesday (Oct. 19), he told the audience that “there will never be” a sequel to he and Jay Z’s joint project, Watch The Throne. And… it’s all over Drake’s single “Pop Style.”

“I wasn’t on the song because of Hov,” Kanye told fans. “‘Cause of some TIDAL-Apple bullsh*t. Th*s shit be gettin’ me tight every time I perform this motherf*cker. Y’all didn’t get what y’all was supposed to get with me and Drake on this song because of some TIDAL-Apple bullsh*t.”

Kanye goes on to explain how the song came to be and why it ultimately never made it to Drake’s VIEWS album, due to Meek Mill’s relationship with Roc Nation.

“I started freestyling to it,” Kanye said. “Jay thought of a couple lines. I said, ‘Man, just go ahead and throw that on there. They’ll be so surprised. He probably wouldn’t expect you to be on there.’ And [Drake] was like, ‘Oh sh*t, The Throne is on this sh*t!’ Then Jay thought about it and, out of respect for Meek Mill, he ain’t want to be on the track. And I said, ‘Look, I’ll call Drake, I’ll call Meek, I’ll call y’all… we gotta squash this sh*t. We gotta let people have this song!’ But then it went out of that territory and it went into some TIDAL sh*t, some political sh*t, some sh*t about percentages on songs.”

“I can’t take this shit, bro,” he added. “Our kids ain’t never even played together.”
