Following reports of its sale over the summer for $4 billion, the UFC reveals a star-studded list of celebrities and athletes who have joined its ownership group.

Names like The Weeknd, Ben Affleck, Mark Wahlberg, Tyler Perry, Rob Dyrdek, Tom Brady, Serena Williams and Sylvester Stallone, among others have joined the UFC as owners.

"Expanding our ownership group to include this caliber of talent and entrepreneurs is a strong indicator of UFC’s fast-growing global presence," UFC President Dana White said in statement. "Our new investors bring an incredible depth of knowledge and experience to help us continue to elevate this brand and capitalize on its entertainment and sports crossover appeal."

Since launching in 1993, the UFC has become on the largest and fastest-growing global sports brands.

In July WWE-IMG joined Silver Lake Partners, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts and other investment firms to acquire the professional MMA organization for $4 billion, after weeks of speculation.
