Freddie Gibbs was found not guilty in an Austrian court Friday (Sept. 30) on sexual assault charges, stemming from an alleged incident in Vienna back in July 2015, reports the AFP.

The rapper has spent the last four months in French and Austrian jails, awaiting trial... and is now freed and able to return to America.

The Vienna regional court found that there was not enough evidence to prove Gibbs had any sexual relations with the alleged victim, who claimed he spiked her drink at his hotel.

"There is no objective proof that Freddie Gibbs had sex with this woman," his Austrian lawyer Thomas Kralik told Austrian media. "Independent witnesses like the hotel receptionist and a hotel guest have stated that the women were tipsy, but definitely still able to walk on their own two legs."

Gibbs was facing up to 10 years in prison, if convicted.

He was arrested in France in June and later extradited to Austria to face the sexual assault charges.
