Lil Wayne Ordered to Pay David Banner $164K in Lawsuit

Ironically, as Lil Wayne continues his legal battle against Cash Money Records, he’s lost a battle against producer David Banner.

The Mississippi rapper/producer filed a lawsuit against Wayne’s Young Money label last summer, claiming he was owed money for tracks he produced for Tha Carter III and We Are Young Money.

According to TMZ, a judge ordered Young Money to pay Banner $164,303.19, as a default judgment after the label failed to respond to the case.

Wayne has filed a $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money. The case is still pending…

  1. Other than greed, I don’t understand why these labels don’t give these people their correct compensation.
