Christian rapper Lecrae recently hit a milestone in his career, with his 2014 album Anomaly reaching gold sales of over 500,000.
It’s the indie rapper’s first RIAA certification in a more than decade-long career.
Anomaly debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart upon its release in September 2014. It boasts the Grammy-nominated hit “All I Need Is You”, as well as the singles, “Say I Won’t” and “Welcome To America.”
Lecrae is currently working on his eighth studio album, though a release date is currently unknown.
In the meantime, he’s gearing up for “The Destination Tour”, which kicks off in late October.
