Madden NFL ’17 is dropping later this month, marking the 29th game released in the Madden franchise.

The video game franchise has been around for longer than most think, dating back to 1989, when it debuted for PCs like the Apple II and Commodore 64 and didn’t even feature actual NFL teams. However, over time, Madden NFL has evolved into the go-to video game for NFL fans and players.
