Jhené Aiko and producer Dot Da Genius revealed that they are headed for divorce last week. Two days later, the singer took to Twitter to respond to infidelity accusations and further explain the situation from behind the scenes.
“He jumped the ship along time ago,” Aiko wrote. “He wants to be the victim and I’ll let his bitch ass assume the role.”
When asked by a fan why she did “Dot like that?”, Aiko replied: “Never let a man disrespect u in any way. major key”
Another fans said Aiko’s “cheating was publicly viewed by the world”. In response, she replied: “Once again, with the internet as ur source… ur point is invalid and inaccurate and ur ignorance grows stronger”
“I only cheated myself. so glad to be free from all the drugs, depression and confrontation,” Aiko said in a tweet.
Aiko made headlines in June, after kissing her Twenty88 collaborator Big Sean on stage in Anaheim, Calif. (see below), setting off speculation about the status of her relationship with Dot Da Genius.
