If you haven’t heard yet, reports have indicated that LeBron James has been tapped to star in a Space Jam sequel. But, it looks like the original’s star, Michael Jordan, isn’t exactly on board with the decision.
MJ was recently asked about the sequel to his iconic 1996 film during his basket camp, and he admits he’d pick another player for the lead role.
“Who would I choose? I would probably pick Blake Griffin,” Jordan said.
Obviously, Griffin is Jordan Brand athlete, which likely influenced MJ’s answer.
What do you think? Would Griffin be perfect for a Space Jam sequel, or a better choice than LeBron James?
