Following news that Nintendo is bringing back its iconic NES in mini form, Sega follows suit.
In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog, the company will revive its Mega Drive brand, via a two-player home console, as well as a portable gaming system, reports The Next Web.
The Mega Drive is known as the Sega Genesis in the U.S.
The console supports original Mega Drive cartridges, comes with two wireless controllers and plugs into your TV, while the portable system features a 3.2-inch display and includes a rechargeable battery with a USB charger. Also, both systems come with 80 games built in, including Sega classics like Sonic, Mortal Kombat, Golden Axe, and Comix Zone.
