BMW recently unveiled this limited M5 model, dubbed the M5 Pure Metal Silver Limited Edition.
Known as Competition Edition in Europe, the car is limited to just 50 units in the U.S., and is built upon a M5 with the Competition Package.
This package offers more power and a multi-layer paint job as an additional highlight. It boasts up to 600 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, resulting in 25 more hp than a M5 fitted with the package. The added power stems from an increased boost pressure and “targeted modifications.”
Lastly, it features a chrome-like paint job, which is BMW’s most expensive paint option, costing $10,000 USD in BMW Individual’s Catalog.
The BMW M5 Pure Metal Silver Limited Edition releases in August for $130,900 USD. Visit BMWUSA.com for more info.
