Brock Lesnar had a victorious return to the UFC earlier this month, after defeating Mark Hunt at UFC 200… but he was hit with some bad news.
He was notified by the USADA (U.S. Anti-Doping Agency) Friday (July 15) of a potential doping violation, stemming from an out-of-competition drug test administered in late June.
USADA “will handle the results management and appropriate adjudication of this case,” UFC said in a statement.
The agency visited Lesnar five times over the course of two weeks before the fight, according to Fox Sports.
At UFC 200, Lesnar earned a unanimous decision over Hunt. It was his first fight in five years — following his retirement in 2011.
After leaving MMA, he returned to the WWE, which first made him a superstar.
