Von Miller isn’t going anywhere, after signing a new six-year deal with the Denver Broncos… keeping him there through 2021.
The reigning Super Bowl MVP’s deal is worth a reported $114.5 million with $70 million of that guaranteed, reports ESPN. That number makes himi the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, as well as the highest-paid player in Denver franchise history.
“I’m super happy and excited to be back with my teammates for the next six years,” Miller said in a statement released by the team. “This is something I really wanted-to stay with the Denver Broncos. I am so appreciative and grateful for this opportunity. I want to thank Mr. [Pat] Bowlen, Joe Ellis, John Elway and Coach [Gary] Kubiak for making this possible. I’m also thankful for the way my teammates and our fans have supported me. I’m excited for the future and ready to get back to work.”
Miller later confirmed the news on Twitter, posting a photo of himself in a Broncos jersey with the caption “FOR LIFE.”
