Jeff Teague is set to make $8.8 million this coming NBA season, but he won’t be spending it on a new crib… because he will be living in his parents basement.
In an interview with Fox Sports 97.5, the new Indiana Pacers point guard joked about his living situation… and he revealed the news. Surprised, they asked him for how long, and Teague responded, “the whole year.”
He was recently traded to the Pacers from the Atlanta Hawks, where he’s been living for several years.
“I bought a home here some years back, and when I re-signed back with Atlanta, I just decided that I was going to live in Atlanta,” he explained. “And I just gave the house to my mom and dad. And now, I sold my house in Atlanta, so I’m moving back. So now I’m gonna live in my old house with my mom and dad.”
