After just a single season in Charlotte, Jeremy Lin is returning to New York City, after agreeing to a three-year, $36 million deal with the Brooklyn Nets, reports ESPN.
Lin also tweeted about joining the Nets on Friday morning (July 1), writing: “The journey continues…thankful for the next chapter!!”

Lin, who turns 28 in August, signed a two-year, $4.3 million contract with Charlotte last July, but a player option in the second year, which he exercised to become a free agent. Last season, he averaged 11.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists over 26.3 minutes per game with the Hornets.
