Canon has unveiled a new Macro lens, sporting a built-in ring flash!

The EF-M 28mm f/3.5 Macro IS STM lens is designed for the brand’s EOS M digital camera series, and is touted as the “world’s lightest autofocus lens and the world’s first macro lens with a built-in Macro Lite”.

The built-in Macro Lite allows photographers to easily adjust the intensity of the lighting, while the lens is tapered, so it won’t cast a shadow, no matter the subject.

The new Canon lens releases June 30, but is available for pre-order now online.
