The rumored return has been circulating since last year, but now, we have confirmation that the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Bred” is indeed coming back, reports HYPEBEAST.
The iconic sneaker and colorway will return during the Fall 2016 season, just in time for the new school year, and in its original form and signature “Bred” colorway.
The Jordan 1 became infamous in the 1980s, when Michael Jordan notoriously wore them in NBA games, despite incurring fines of $5,000 USD a game for violating the league’s uniform rules. Nike happily picked up the tab… fueling sales of the shoe.
OG Jordan 1 “Breds” haven’t been reissued since 2013, so their release will likely be sought-after. They’re currently set to drop in Europe in September, while a Stateside release is currently unknown.
