For those of you that have already cut the cord, in regard to your cable service, are probably familiar with Hulu.
Now, the on-demand serving service is reportedly working on a live-streaming TV option, reports the Wall Street Journal.
Coming as a competitor to the traditional pay-TV providers, Hulu’s new venture would offer content at a monthly price of around $40 USD. And, since it’s owned by Disney and Fox, it will offer access to programming from networks like ABC, ESPN and FX. NBCUniversal (another part-owner of Hulu), however, won’t likely be participating.
Another feature of the service will be an online DVR system, as well as on-demand access to old episodes of some shows.
The new Hulu service is expected to launch in early 2017.
