Following the release of the iPhone SE last month, reports are already coming in about the next major redesign of the Apple iPhone.
According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (via 9to5Mac), the tech giant has a major overhaul in mind for its 2017 edition, which comes in the form of dropping the usual aluminum casing in favor of an all-glass enclosure.
The new casing with be outfitted with an AMOLED display, which is said to be thinner and lighter in order to compensate for the slight weight increase of the glass exterior.
Apple previously used glass for the front and back of the iPhone 4 and 4S models, but the phone was still held together with a stainless steel band.
Obviously, Apple has made no official announcement.
