April 13 marked Kobe Bryant’s final game in the NBA, and was also dubbed “Mamba Day” by Nike, who rolled out a number of tributes to their longtime brand athlete.
One of the drops included a “Mamba Day” graphic for the Kobe 11 Low, which became available through the NIKEiD program… and apparently was its most successful launch ever!
The graphic had a 100% sell-through rate on the site, reports NIKE.

Furthermore, ESPN’s Darren Rovell reports that the #MambaDay hashtag was used 2.1 million times on April 13, with over half of the tweets coming in between 6 p.m. and midnight PST — during Kobe’s final game.
