After we saw Spider-Man in the Captain America: Civil War trailer, there’s been talk of a new Spidey reboot… and now we have the title.
Following much speculation, the first Spider-Man movie from the partnership between Sony and Marvel will be titled Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Sony made the announcement during its CinemaCon presentation on Tuesday (April 12), bringing out Tom Holland, who was previously announced to play the superhero in the next album.
Holland said the upcoming film would focus on Peter Parker’s search for his identity. He also teased a clip featuring Parker meeting Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark, who drops by his Aunt May’s (Marisa Tomei) house.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is due out July 7, 2017.
