Tinashe addresses Chris Brown’s alleged diss on Twitter… following his rant about Kehlani.

Bay Area’s Kehlani made headlines last week, after she was hospitalized after an apparent suicide attempt… which Brown called a ploy for sympathy.

Following the controversy, Tinashe was one of a number of women who proceeded to unfollow Breezy on Twitter… prompting him to lash out with a subliminal, writing: “They called and needed my help, not the other way around. I’ve been around for a bit, so these celebrities fade out musically if they aren’t original or let’s face it actually talented.”

During her interview with 106 KMEL’s Shay Diddy this week, Tinashe brushed off the purported jab at her.

“I kinda laughed it off. I felt like it was just so unneccessary. I was like, ‘Whatever’,” she said. “I think its silly, petty… It’s not a big deal to me. I don’t think that follows on Twitter are like a big deal. That’s just me.”

Regarding Kehlani, Tinashe just ain’t feeling the negativity that spills over onto social media. “It was just a lot. I feel like its always hard when everything that’s really personal is just on social media in general. It’s a messy situation,” she said. “It’s not nice. It’s not nice to see. It’s not fun. It’s not positive.”

Tinashe collaborated with Chris Brown on her single “Player”, which appears on her upcoming album, Joyride.
