Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook hit a record mark on Tuesday (April 5), when he tied Magic Johnson for the most triple-doubles in a single season in the past 30 years.
He finished the night with 13 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists in the OKC’s 124-102 win over of the Denver Nuggets.
He now has four games left to pass the mark Magic set back in the 1988-89 season. If Westbrook does, then he’d tie Johnson’s mark of 18 set in 1981-82.
Another interesting now, according to ESPN, is the Thunder are now 17-0 when he records one.
