The issues between the now-retired Floyd Mayweather and former friend Adrien Broner has come to a head.
Floyd recently dissed the 26-year-old boxer in an interview with FightHype.
“I’m still trying to find out what ‘AB’ stands for. ‘Always Broke?’ That’s what I thought ‘AB’ stands for,” Mayweather said.
“We know he ain’t never seen eight figures or nine figures,” he continued, referring to Broner’s self-proclaimed “About Billions” nickname. “He’s barely seeing seven figures. It’s safe to say that one of my cars cost more than he made in his whole career.”
Broner is set to defend his WBA Light Welterweight title against Mayweather Promotions fighter Ashley Theophane on Saturday (April 1) in Washington, D.C.
