The Tennessee Titans revealed the first image of running back DeMarco Murray in his new uniform this week… after acquiring him earlier this month.
His No. 29 Titans jersey is expected to be the team’s second-most popular behind only quarterback Marcus Mariota this season. And, if Murray returns to the form we saw in 2014, when he won the NFL’s rushing title, he’ll easily become the team’s most popular running back since Chris Johnson, who was released back in 2014.
The Titans got Murray in a trade with the Eagles, who signed him last offseason to a five-year, $42 million contract. He struggled last season with Philly, rushing for just 702 yards and started in just 8 games.
