The Rams’ move back to Los Angeles is set to be documented in HBO’s upcoming season of Hard Knocks.
The NFL and the Rams made the announcement Wednesday (March 23) of the team’s inclusion into the ongoing series.
In the docuseries’ 11th season, cameras will follow a relocating team for the first time, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the Rams’ first training camp back in southern California since 1994, which will take place at the University of California-Irvine.
“It’s exciting to chronicle a franchise with so many compelling storylines, highlighted by the team’s return to the Los Angeles market and the enormously warm reception the Rams are experiencing,” Peter Nelson, HBO Sports’ executive vice president, said. “The series has become a summertime destination for TV viewers, and we can’t wait for the premiere on Aug. 9.”
This season’s Hard Knocks will feature five hour-long episodes, narrated by actor Liev Schreiber. It premieres on HBO on Aug. 9 at 10 p.m. ET.
