New York-based Bicion teamed up with sneaker designer Dan Gamache to create the world’s most expensive sneakers, which are valued at $4 million USD.
The shoe began with a Li-Ning Way of Wade silhouette, dubbed “The Fire Monkey,” which was then customized with gold and diamonds, resulting in what you see above.
It boasts hundreds of carats of tailor-made white diamonds and blue sapphires, each of which is set in 18k gold, and produced by Bicion’s in-house jewelry engineers. We also see a solid gold hang tag with the embossed logos of both Bicion and Mache Customs.
Proceeds from the sale of the shoe will be given to Soles4Souls, a non-profit committed to fighting poverty through the collection and distribution of shoes and clothing.
