Milwaukee Bucks guard O.J. Mayo is out for the rest of the season, as he recovers from a broken ankle.
According to ESPN, the 28-year-old guard suffered a broken right ankle while going down a set of stairs at his home on Thursday morning (March 9).
General manager John Hammond said Mayo “accidentally tripped descending his stairs.”
Mayo averaged 7.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.17 steals this season, while playing 26.6 minutes in 41 games.
The Bucks are currently last in the Central Division with a record of 27-38.
