When the Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Red October” dropped in Feb. 2014, it instantly sold out and reached crazy prices on the resell market shortly after.
While the colorway was the most valuable Yeezy sneaker since its release, another edition is now more valuable.
In a recent interview with SneakerWatch, Jaime (of sneaker consignment shop, RIF LA) says that the Air Yeezy 2 “Solar Red” is selling at a higher pricepoint than the “Red October”.
Currently, the “Solar Red” colorway is going for as high as $5,000, while the “Red October” is currently selling for around $3,700-$3,900.
When asked about the Air Yeezy and Yeezy Boosts (by Adidas), Jaime says you can’t compare the two, because its like, “Comparing apples to oranges.”
