The 2016 Grammys were a big hit on Monday night, but one of the most talked about moments was Kendrick Lamar's "controversial," yet "powerful" performance.

The Compton rapper took to the stage, which was set up like a prison, wearing shackles and county blues, as he performed "The Blacker the Berry", off his 2015 album, To Pimp a Butterfly. Kendrick would later transition to "Alright", where acrobatic dancers performed around him, nbefore debuting a brand new song about death and "modern-day slavery."
