Kanye West has definitely proven that he can launch a fashion line and make an impact, but now, he wants more.

In a previous interview on Sway in the Morning in 2013, the outspoken rap star spazzed out, declaring himself "Shakespere in the flesh"... before explaining his need for the right backing to create the way he envisions.

"I am Warhol. I am the number one most impactful artist of our generation," Ye said during the interview. "I am Shakespeare in the flesh. Walt Disney, Nike, Google -- now who's going to be the Medici family and stand up and let me create more, or do you want to marginalize me until I'm out of my moment?"

Well, according to Page Six, he's trying to make that happen. Kanye "has been reaching out to heavyweights in the fashion business to back his Yeezy clothing line to the tune of $100 million (USD)," said the report.

Among the potential investors he's attempted to contact is "LVMH chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault, Richemont and Chris Burch, who helped launch Tory Burch's fashion line and later started C. Wonder."

The story, however, doesn't mention if anyone has invested in Yeezy Season.
