It appears that Pharrell Williams is building up his portfolio. Following his recent re-acquistion of controlling interest in BBC, he becomes the co-owner of jeans brand G-Star RAW.
He made the announcement on Twitter, writing: “On top of my business. As of today, proud to be a co-owner of @GStarRAW.”
As part of the partnership, Pharrell will be involved in various facets of the company, from collections to advertising to business strategy.
“G-Star is an independently minded and forward thinking company,” he said in a statement. “I believe they will be the definitive jeans brand of the 21st century. I am looking forward to being part of that mission and to co-create G-Star’s future.”
