Adidas unveiled this week, the the James Harden Crazylight Boost 2.5 PE, which the Houston Rockets star will sport during this year’s All-Star Game.
The sneaker is the fourth basketball installment of the Aurora Borealis footwear collection, which is inspired by Toronto’s vibrant, cosmopolitan culture and the Northern Lights that paint the sky in upper parts of Canada… and the host of the 2016 NBA All-Star Game.
The PE edition sneakers combines design cues from its predecessor with a Primeknit upper and Boost cushioning, as well as a two-tone upper comprised of teal mesh and reflective Xeno scales that deliver a Northern Lights tribute when hit with flash. Paired with green and deep purple accents, it also features glow-in-the-dark tooling along the outsole, forefoot mesh and toe box. Pink hits on its torsion plate, three stripe detailing and a custom “13” wordmark rounds out the design.
The Aurora Borealis Collection is available now at Adidas.com, with Harden’s PE dropping Feb. 12.
