After Los Angeles radio host Big Boy left Power 106 for iHeartMedia in early 2015, the station sued… but have since reached a settlement.
Emmis Radio, Power 106’s parent company, sued the on-air personality for $5 million, citing breach of contract… and asked that a judge block his move to iHeartMedia.
While the judge didn’t block his departure, the lawsuit continued… and both sides have now agreed to a settlement, reports TMZ.com.
Terms were unknown, but both sides paid their own legal fees.
Big Boy is currently on iHeartRadio’s Real 92.3, where he gets $3.5 million a year.
