Fast food chains have been testing unique items in the Asian market, the latest being McDonald's Japan, who introduces McChoco Potato.

The item is a basket of French fries, which are smothered in chocolate sauce and white milk chocolate.

"The combination creates a wonderful salty and sweet harmonious taste," McDonald's says in a statement.

McChoco Potato will be available across Japan beginning Jan. 26.

McDonald's Japan previously offered Shaka Shaka Potato fries, which were covered with cheese sauce or bacon.
