Lexus continues to offer up creative pieces, from a cardboard car to a hoverboard. This time around, it put its NX crossover on ice… literally.

The car brand recently commissioned a team of ice sculpture specialists to replace alloy metal and rubber with ice… aka replace the tires with ice-scuplted versions.

After three months’ research, design and testing, the finished ice wheels were fitted to a Lexus NX for the ultimate ice drive. The car itself was deep-frozen, stored for five days at -30°C before being driven off down a London road.
