Safaree stopped by The Breakfast Club this week, discussing his issues with Nicki Minaj.
Appearing in support of his new mixtape, Nicki’s ex was asked, immediately, about his recently filed lawsuit against her.
“If you worked at a radio station for a year, then at the end of the year, you just got (cut throat gesture)… you did the work and all of that and the station is still doing their thing and making their bread,” Safaree replied.
Then, when asked about being credited as Executive Producer on Nicki’s projects, he says: “It’s like a shoutout, pretty much… What’s right is right.”
While it’s unclear how much he’s seeking in the lawsuit, Safaree claims he was instrumental in the creation of a lot of Nicki’s music and even credited as executive producer on her first two albums.
The status of the lawsuit is currently unknown.
