As the Seattle Seahawks grind out the rest of the season, they take a hit with running back Thomas Rawls out with a broken ankle.
Rawls will miss the rest of the season after suffering the injury in Sunday’s victory over the Baltimore Ravens.
With Marshawn Lynch missing the past four games with a sports hernia injury, Rawls had a big impact as a rookie, rushing 147 times for 830 yards.
Now the Seahawks must figure out their options, and Lynch may be a possibility.
“We’ll see how Marshawn does,” Carroll said, according to ESPN. “He was back in rehabbing with us. We’ll see where he is. He’s got a chance to get back.
“It’s all about getting back in shape and getting right. I don’t know what that timetable is at this point. Our trainers can’t tell yet. That’ll be the next thing we look forward to and see how that works. And in the meantime, we’ll figure it out.”
