The latest installment in the Rocky franchise, Creed, has received critical acclaim… and from the look of this clip, Michael B. Jordan deserves it.
To make things as real as possible, the young actor actually got punched in the face, for real and more than once, which translates to a hyper-realistic final cut.
Sylvester Stallone recently tweeted a clip of Jordan taking a punch to the face and getting “KO’d for real,” he says.
“Michael B Jordon, “young creed and “getting KO’d for real! But he got up and did it again! That’s called guts!!” Stallone tweeted.

Jordan, himself, spoke about the realness of the fights in the film, in a recent interview with Bill Simmons. “The first couple times we tried to do [punches], we tried to do it with the slips,” Jordan explained. “It’s slow motion, so you can see the misses [and] the space between the punches.”.
To date, Creed has earned more than $68 million at the box office.
