Following news of his lifetime deal with Nike, LeBron James reflected on his journey through his sneakers.
In a video, published via Bleacher Report’s “Uninterrupted”, the NBA superstar talked to fans from one of his shoe closet.
While LeBron doesn’t offer a tour of his massive sneaker collection, he does showcase his very first signature shoe with Nike: the Nike Air Zoom Generation.
“This where it all started. This, right here, is where it all started,” he says in the video. “18-year-old kid, coming into the league, and having an opportunity to have my own signature shoe, which I never… ever thought would be possible. Now, 13 years later, having a LeBron 13… winning championships and having LeBron signatures shoes, winning MVPs in signature shoes Nike has given me, I share all my moments with you guys.”
